Dr. Kate Preston is a board-certified surgeon and aesthetic specialist with nearly a decade of experience serving the Flagstaff community. As a partner at Flagstaff Surgical Associates since 2016, she brings a meticulous surgical eye and compassionate touch to both general surgery and advanced aesthetic treatments.
Trained at Louisiana State University and the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program, Dr. Preston developed deep expertise in breast, pediatric, and minimally invasive surgery—including hands-on experience at a Level I Trauma Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a trusted leader in breast health and women’s wellness.
Dr. Preston’s journey into aesthetics was a natural evolution of her passion for helping patients feel confident and whole. Today, she offers expertly administered injectable treatments—including Botox® and dermal fillers—as well as non-surgical skin rejuvenation options. Her approach blends medical precision with artistic balance, enhancing natural beauty while prioritizing safety, comfort, and results.

Marlo Montoya is a Certified Laser Technician with over 20 years of experience in the medical field and a decade specializing in laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels and more. She currently works at Flagstaff Surgical Associates as a lead medical assistant and specializes in aesthetic treatments under Dr. Kate Preston. Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, Marlo is proud to be raising her three children alongside her husband in her hometown. With a passion for helping others look and feel their best, Marlo is dedicated to improving skin health and boosting confidence through advanced aesthetic treatments. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys walking, binge-watching her favorite shows, and spending quality time with her family.
